Phase 2 hCG Herb Blends and Marinades

I prepare the blends below and store in recycled herb bottles. There is an amazing herb company called Gourmet Garden. They dry the herbs half way so that they retain a fresh-picked flavor but it keeps in the fridge for a month. I make my mixes with it as often possible. Here is the link to their main site, although I shop for mine at the local QFC.

Gourmet Garden

Herb Blends:

Jamaican Blend-  2 tbsp dry mustard, 2 tsp dried thyme, 1 tsp allspice, 1 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Cajun Blend-  1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp dried thyme, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Spicy Blend-  2 tbsp paprika, 2 tsp oregano, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp onion powder

Seafood Blend-  1 tsp parsley, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp dill seed, 1/4 marjoram, 1/4 tsp paprika

Simple & Quick (often blended with lemon and apple cinder vinegar for dressing)-  1 tbsp oregano, 1/2 tbsp rosemary, 1 tbsp basil


Mix these in cup and place in a ziplock bag or jar with proteins for a few hours or over night…

Asian Inspired

1 cup Red Wine Vinegar

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

1 tbsp minced Onion

1/1 tbsp minced or crushed Garlic

1 tsp grated Ginger

1/2 tbsp chopped Thai Basil or regular Basil if you can’t find that


La Cubana

My good friend’s go-to mix for pretty much everything, she claims it even goes well with Tofu

2 tbsp Chili Powder

1/2 cup Lime Juice

3 smashed Garlic Cloves

2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp cumin (sometimes I omit this… in all honesty, Im not a huge fan of the flavor)
